100GbE “Ping-Pong” Recorder Scheme

Two DDR-7000 Ethernet recording systems are arranged for a “Ping-Pong” operations scheme.

The operation philosophy of this solution example is for one system to perform its full-rate network record while the second system remains in “ready-standby” mode. The standby system continues with full-rate network recording without delay or interruption.

Aircraft Data Network (Avionics) Recording Whitepaper

This project required capturing full avionics data-bus traffic during the entire aircraft production cycle. The resulting data-bus analysis and recording tool can be applied to most aircraft deterministic networking schemes, such as Airbus’s Avionics Full-Duplex Switched Ethernet (AFDX), ARINC664 and MIL-STD-1553.
