Daqscribe is searching for a full-time Senior Software Development Engineer with 2+ years of experience. Responsibilities include: design, development, testing, implementation, hands-on support and project management of our fast and scalable ethernet recorders for both High-Performance Computing (HPC) and critical Test & Measurement applications. The candidate will have experience programming across multiple operating systems on various platforms.
Expectations:
- Must be residing in, or willing to relocate to the Denver metro area
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- At least 2 years of software engineering work experience
- Windows System Programming
- Visual Studio C/C++, Qt
- System Programming: Knowledgeable and experienced with programming high data-rate bus and I/O architectures, including PCIe 3.0/4.0, RDMA, and other multi-gigabit Ethernet technologies
- MFC Programming – Microsoft part of C++
- Hardware device API program
- Linux System Programming
- Qt, C/C++
- System Programming: 2+ years experience in an embedded Linux development role
- Low level file system programming
- Hardware device API program
- A solid understanding of data analytics to find innovative ways to improve processes and services
- Superior problem solving, analytic, quantitative and modeling skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for several aspects of the product lifecycle, ranging from product specification through firmware design to validation
- In charge of debugging and troubleshooting, related to firmware design, hardware interfaces and code implementation
- Responsible for assessing complex requirements, creating procedures for developing design documentation to show processing logic, and producing concise technical specifications.
- Working with internal Quality Assurance (QA) procedures to ensure proper capture of test cases; respond to test team ambiguity review questions
- Engaged in software development process management using Jira
- Configure and maintain and Atlassian JIRA/Confluence software cases.
- At the helm of bug-tracking, issue-tracking and project management tool.
- In charge of customer service across all platforms and all areas of the business
