The DISCOVERY STATION, Purpose-Built for the Mission
DISCOVERY STATION is a 4U system for storing, processing and managing network recordings, with 216 TB to 1080 TB of removable storage and data interfaces up to QSFP56 200GbE.
Storage is 45 top-loading 3.5-inch enterprise spindle HDDs, and data interfaces come as one or two ports each of SFP+ 10GbE, QSFP+ 40GbE and QSFP28/QSFP56 100/200GbE. An AMD EPYC 9004 processor with 96 GB to 2 TB of memory runs on 110/220 VAC through 1600 W high-efficiency dual redundant supplies. The nDiscovery software package is included, with a network recordings dashboard and visual recording map, and Wireshark® network data analysis support with the MDP software option.
