Daqscribe — The Ethernet Recorder Company
Privacy

Privacy Policy.

Last updated August 12, 2026

This policy explains what happens to the information you send us through daqscribe.com — what our contact and quote forms record, why we keep it, who else sees it, and how to have it removed.

It's written to be read. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we'll explain it plainly.

The short version

  • We collect what you type into our contact and quote forms, plus the ordinary server logs any website keeps.
  • We use it to answer you, prepare quotes, and send the technical material you asked for.
  • We do not sell your information, and this site runs no advertising or cross-site tracking.
  • You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

Who we are

Daqscribe Solutions, LLC (“Daqscribe”, “we”, “us”) builds Ethernet data recorders and the nStudio software suite. This policy covers daqscribe.com and the forms on it. It does not cover products installed on your own network — a recorder in your rack captures your data, on your infrastructure, and we have no access to it.

Our offices are at 10 Inverness Dr E Suite 125, Englewood, CO 80112, USA.

What we collect

Information you give us

Our forms — the quote request, the contact page, the homepage form, the product quote dialog, and the recorder selector — ask for some or all of the following:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your company, phone number, and company website
  • Which recorder or nStudio module your inquiry is about, where the form asks you to pick one
  • What you're interested in, how you'd prefer to be contacted, and how you heard about us
  • Anything you write in the message field

Only your name, email, and message are required; the rest are optional and the forms work without them. We also record which form and which page a submission came from, so we know what you were reading when you wrote to us.

Please don't send classified, export-controlled, or otherwise restricted technical data through this website. Our forms are a general sales inbox and are not an approved channel for it. If your question requires that kind of detail, contact us and we'll arrange an appropriate route. See our Terms of Use.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, ours keeps server logs. These record the IP address your request came from, your browser and operating system, the pages you requested, the time of the request, and the page that referred you. We use them to keep the site running, troubleshoot faults, and detect abuse.

Form submissions also run through basic automated checks that filter out bot traffic, and we limit how many submissions can come from one address in an hour.

What we don't collect

There are no visitor accounts on this site and nothing is sold through it, so we take no passwords and no payment details. We don't ask for sensitive categories of information — health, biometrics, precise location, government ID numbers — and you shouldn't send them to us.

How we use it

We use the information you send to:

  • Reply to your question and, where you asked for one, prepare a quote
  • Send the datasheets, documentation, or other technical material you requested
  • Follow up about the products you asked about, and route your inquiry to the right person
  • Keep our own records of who we've done business with
  • Keep the site secure and working, and comply with the law

We don't run an automated marketing program off this site. If we contact you, it's because you wrote to us — and you can tell us to stop at any time.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We run no ad pixels, no third-party trackers, and nothing that follows you to other websites.

The one cookie we set is a sign-in session cookie in our internal staff area, which visitors never reach. It exists to keep a Daqscribe employee logged in and does nothing on the public site.

Some pages embed YouTube videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which avoids setting tracking cookies unless you actually play the video. Pressing play sends a request to YouTube, and Google's privacy policy governs what happens then.

Because we don't track visitors across sites, there is nothing here for a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do share it in these limited situations:

  • Vendors that run this site. Our hosting provider (Vercel), our database provider (Convex), and our email delivery provider (Resend) process this information so the site can operate and so form submissions reach our inbox. They handle it on our instructions.
  • Authorized sales representatives. Where a representative or partner covers your region or the product you asked about, we may pass your inquiry to them so they can respond.
  • When the law requires it — a valid legal request, a court order, or where we need to protect our rights, our people, or the public.
  • If the business changes hands — a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information may transfer with the rest of the business.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we have a working relationship with you and afterward for our business records — quotes and correspondence are part of how we track what we've proposed and to whom. Server logs are kept for a much shorter period. If you'd rather we didn't keep your information, ask us to delete it and we will, unless we have a legal reason to hold on to it.

Where it's processed

Daqscribe is a United States company and the information you send us is stored and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. If you write to us from another country, you're sending your information to the United States.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete it
  • Stop contacting you

Email contact@daqscribe.com or use our contact page, and we'll take care of it. We won't treat you differently for asking.

Depending on where you live — Colorado and California, for example, or the EU and UK — you may have additional rights over your personal information. Ask us at the same address and we'll honor whatever applies to you.

How we protect it

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit, form submissions are stored in an access-controlled database, and only the Daqscribe staff who need to answer your inquiry can read it. That said, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we can't promise absolute security.

Children

This site sells industrial and defense equipment to organizations and isn't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, contact us and we'll remove it.

Other sites we link to

This site links to places we don't operate — our customer support portal, YouTube videos, partner websites, and others. Their privacy policies govern what they collect, not this one. It's worth reading them.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant, we'll make that clear on the page rather than expecting you to spot the difference.
