nPlay™
Replay Reality.
Timing-aware Layer 2 Ethernet replay that recreates recorded network traffic as a repeatable test stimulus.
Replayed
Recorded packets drop through nPlay into a matching replayed row. The same bursts and gaps illustrate original-timing replay under supported playback conditions. Packet spacing and animation speed are illustrative.
Repeatable Traffic
nPlay™ turns recorded Ethernet traffic into a controllable, repeatable test stimulus.
Time-Faithful Replay
Recreate the original event at captured timing, or use adjustable playback speed for alternate test conditions.
Synchronized Playback
For supported multi-port and multi-system configurations, PTP and 1PPS provide a shared timing reference for coordinated replay.
Time-Faithful Replay: Recreate Recorded Traffic
Recorded traffic carries more than packets: the gaps, bursts, and quiet periods describe how the network behaved. nPlay uses the captured timing information to reproduce those relationships during original-timing replay, delivering a time-faithful recreation of the recorded Ethernet traffic under supported playback conditions.

Replay the Time Window You Need
Choose a recorded Run and replay channel, then specify the start point and duration using relative seconds or Unix (Epoch) time tags. Replay the full event or a selected interval. Original-timing playback preserves the recorded pacing; user-defined speed and delay settings provide additional control. Playback status and transmission progress remain visible during operation.
Synchronized Playback Across Ports and Systems
For supported multi-port and multi-system configurations, PTP and 1PPS provide a shared timing reference for coordinated replay. Individual port delays can align or intentionally offset first-frame transmission, while each output follows its configured replay timing.

Repeatable Traffic for Controlled Validation
Replay the same recorded event across successive test runs while the system under test changes. A consistent traffic stimulus makes it easier to compare system responses without having to recreate the original network conditions.
Reuse captured traffic for repeatable validation.
nPlay complements nRec; it is not a required stage after discovery.
