Daqscribe had a great time at AoC Maple Leaf this year. From the moment things kicked off, the energy on the floor was fantastic and it stayed that way the entire event.
We saw steady foot traffic at the booth, with a mix of engineers, military personnel, and industry partners stopping by to take a closer look at what we’ve been working on. It led to a lot of solid conversations, which is exactly what we hope for at a AoC shows.
Talking About What Matters
A big theme across the event was performance and real-world capability. Most of the questions we got were centered around:
- How much data can you actually handle?
- What does deployment look like?
- How does this fit into existing VPX systems?
- What kinds of applications is this built for?
That’s where things got interesting.
Showcasing the CARBON100 VPX
At the booth, we were showcasing the CARBON100 VPX, and it definitely drew attention.
In simple terms, it’s a compact, high-performance recording platform built around a single-slot VPX chassis. It’s designed to make integration easier while still delivering serious capability.
A few highlights of the CARBON100 VPX system:
- Full-duplex 100GbE recording
- Support for high-speed capture across multiple interfaces
- Up to 480TB of removable enterprise storage
- Compact ½ ATR form factor, making it easier to deploy in real environments
But what really resonated with people wasn’t just specs; it was how everything comes together.
The CARBON100 VPX acts as a complete RF recording system in a box, integrating power, control, storage, and VPX capability into one platform.
That made it easier for visitors to see how it could plug directly into applications like:
- I/Q data capture
- Electronic warfare workflows
- Cyber and AI-driven data environments
The “Ready” Factor
One thing people kept coming back to was how quickly the system can go from setup to capture.
Between the hardware and the nStudio software suite, users can configure capture, record at full rate, and start working with data almost immediately.
That “ready” aspect sparked a lot of follow-up questions and a lot of good discussions about real deployment scenarios.
Real Conversations, Real Use Cases
Some of the best moments from the event weren’t planned.
They happened when someone leaned in, pointed at the system, and started asking how it would work in their environment.
That’s where the value of events like AoC Maple Leaf really shows up:
- You get direct feedback
- You hear real-world challenges
- And you get to show how your tech actually fits
Overall, AoC Maple Leaf was a strong event for Daqscribe. Great turnout, great conversations, and a lot of interest in what we’re building.
