Daqscribe at AoC 2025 Washington, DC
The 2025 Association of Old Crows Symposium in Washington, DC brought together leaders and engineers from across the electronic warfare and RF community. Daqscribe was proud to attend and share our latest hardware, software, and brand updates with attendees throughout the event.
AoC 2025 gave us the opportunity to connect directly with partners and customers while demonstrating how Daqscribe continues to support demanding recording and data analysis applications.
Introducing a New Booth Design and the Daqs Knight
AoC 2025 marked the debut of Daqscribe’s new booth backdrop design, featuring the introduction of the Daqs Knight character.
The Daqs Knight represents strength, reliability, and readiness, reflecting the environments where Daqscribe systems are deployed. The new design helped create a strong visual presence on the show floor and sparked many conversations about our technology and our direction as a company.
Hardware Highlight: Carbon VPX
At the show, Daqscribe highlighted the Carbon VPX, a compact VPX-based recording platform designed for high speed Ethernet and RF recording.
The Carbon VPX is a half ATR style, one slot VPX chassis that supports up to 100GbE recording and is designed to integrate directly with 3U VPX cards. The system combines power, control, data ingest, and storage into a single enclosure.
Key capabilities of the Carbon VPX include:
- Support for 100GbE Ethernet capture
- Multiple optical and copper interface options
- Removable enterprise NVMe storage with capacity scaling up to 480TB
- Support for RF recording through compatible VPX cards
- Compact form factor suited for deployed and lab environments
The Carbon VPX is well suited for applications such as I Q data capture, cyber operations, and data intensive processing workflows.
Software Highlight: nRec and nDiscovery
Alongside the hardware demonstrations, Daqscribe also showcased key components of the nStudio Software Suite, with a focus on nRec and nDiscovery.
nRec is Daqscribe’s recording engine used to configure capture ports and record Ethernet and RF data at high data rates. It is designed to provide reliable data capture and can be controlled locally or through programmatic interfaces for remote operation.
nDiscovery is used to explore and analyze recorded data. It allows users to navigate large recordings, review events, and perform signal analysis without needing to move or copy entire datasets.
With nDiscovery, users can visualize recorded data, perform spectral and I Q analysis, and export selected data to external analysis tools when needed.
Together, nRec and nDiscovery provide a streamlined workflow from data capture to analysis.
Looking Ahead
AoC 2025 was a valuable event for the Daqscribe team. The introduction of the Daqs Knight, combined with strong interest in the Carbon VPX and the nStudio software tools, reinforced the growing demand for reliable recording and data discovery solutions.
We appreciate everyone who stopped by our booth and took the time to speak with us. We look forward to continuing these conversations and sharing what’s next for Daqscribe at future events.
