Real Experiences Shared by Our Interns on LinkedIn

At Daqscribe, we believe in providing real-world opportunities for students to grow their skills and gain valuable experience in technology and innovation. As part of their internship projects with us, students worked hands-on with our team, contributing to meaningful initiatives while learning in a professional environment.

Many of our interns have shared their experiences on LinkedIn, reflecting on the challenges they overcame, the mentorship they received, and the impact of their projects. Their testimonials highlight not only their personal growth but also the collaborative culture we foster at Daqscribe.

Below, you’ll find some of their stories in their own words, straight from their LinkedIn posts.

For the past three summers, I’ve had the privilege of participating in the Daqscribe Summer Workshop Program – a journey that began with foundational topics like computer theory and socket programming and gradually led me into more complex, interdisciplinary territory.

This year, the focus shifted toward the intersection of cognitive neuroscience and data-recording technology. Through the collaboration of Daqscribe and Florida Atlantic University, I explored how the brain can be studied through both theoretical and practical lenses. Guided by Dr. Sang Wook Hong, Dr. Yosun Yoon, Ph.D., and the Daqscribe team, I engaged in lectures and discussions with experts. I became deeply interested in decoding brain signals by analyzing their frequency components, understanding how brain stimulation affects cognition, and grappling with broader questions surrounding perception and consciousness.

This experience has sparked a growing interest in the intersection of neuroscience and engineering – an area I hope to explore further. I’m deeply grateful to the Daqscribe and Florida Atlantic University teams for their support in making this experience possible.

It’s not every day I find myself a part of such an amazing intersection of cognitive neuroscience and data-recording technology.

Having been welcomed into the Daqscribe internship program years ago, I have been able to gain invaluable guidance from engineering specialists and insight into the realm of Ethernet recording. This time around, in partnership with Florida Atlantic University, the perspective shifted to the fascinating subject of the human brain.

Under the tutelage of Sang Wook Hong, Yosun Yoon, Ph.D., and the entire Daqscribe team, I explored foundational and emerging ideas through academic lecture, intensive literature review, and participation in expert-led discussion and presentation on:

  • Neural Decoding and Facial Perception
  • Signals and Systems
  • Brain Stimulation and Cognitive Improvement

I am extremely grateful to say I took part in this amazing opportunity. This experience reshaped how I see the world of tech — my passion has only grown, and I can’t wait to engage in more projects building off of what I have learned.
